Ran across this very pretty paper lace at ornametea.com and it was just the ticket!!! I decided to paint a golden stripe underneath the paper lace just to add a touch of spunk to the piece. While in my studio today I was visited by a darling ladybug who simply insisted that she stay on the chest while I worked. Nothing but luck-a sure sign this project was meant to be AND I located our latest batch of babies. This little fellow with the stripe on his nose had gotten away from mom and was pitching an awful fit. He completely gave away their hiding spot! It was a delight to finally see the new additions. Too cute!
