A very special gift

This was an unexpected delight given to me by a dear lady with whom we attend worship. Wayne and I had made a number of small purchases for those of our church congregation who we felt a special closeness to. The week following our gift "distribution" Cindy Williams approached me with this gorgeous watercolor painting she made for me. Neither of us was aware that the other was an artist and I cannot express to you how delighted I was that she chose to share this part of herself with me! I was so deeply touched for I know first hand the chance she took at possible rejection or disappointment at opening herself up to me - I have been in this position myself on numerous occasions. Thank you, Cindy, for sharing your special gift with me, it will always be among my treasured possessions!
